Mapping the Unseen: Movement as Another Way of Seeing
Santa Maria, CA
About the Program
Inspired by the artwork and landscape that shape this exhibition, this all-levels workshop explores how attention transforms the way we experience art, space, and ourselves. Through guided movement, walking explorations, and a simple movement phrase, participants will discover how body, observation, and environment inform one another.
No dance experience is necessary, only curiosity and a willingness to notice, explore, and connect. We'll conclude with a shared conversation about how movement can deepen the way we see and experience the world around us.
Tennis shoes that are comfortable for movement are recommended.
