From December 9th to 11th, LAND will host a weekend in Marfa, TX in celebration of its large-scale exhibition Nothing Beside Remains. This weekend will include performances and programming by exhibiting artists, selected screenings, and guided tours of the exhibition.

Tour bus leaves from the Presidio County Courthouse (320 North Highland Avenue) promptly at 3:45pm

The Chinati Foundation
The Chinati Foundation is a contemporary art museum in Marfa based upon the ideas of its founder, Donald Judd. The specific intention of Chinati is to preserve and present to the public permanent large-scale installations by a limited number of artists.
The Foundation offers a variety of tours of the collection, and those registered for Nothing Beside Remains Weekend will receive a 10% discount and a complimentary copy of the Foundation's newsletter. Reservations for a tour with The Chinati Foundation are strongly suggested and can be made here.
Getting to Marfa
The closest major airports are located in El Paso and Midland/Odessa. Marfa is approximately 200 miles from both cities. El Paso is serviced by American, Continental, Delta, and Southwest Airlines. Midland/Odessa is serviced by Southwest Airlines, American Eagle and Continental Airlines. Major car rental agencies are located at both airports.
The Marfa airport is located three miles north of town and can service most small jets and jet-prop aircraft.
